How to Set or Change Google Authentication (2FA) Verification

How to Set or Change Google Authentication (2FA) Verification [PC]

Step 1: Visit bydfi.com, and click "Portrait" icon:

1. Choose Account Security

2. Choose Security Center

3. Click Turn on

Step 2: You will see the below page, Click Next

Step 3: Follow the instructions;

Step 4: Please write the key on paper. When the phone is lost, this series of keys can help you reset Google authentication. Otherwise, it usually takes at least 7 days to submit a ticket to reset Google verification;

Step 5: Enter SMS Verification Code, Email Verification Code and Google Verification Code;

Step 6: Click Submit and You are all set!

Step 1: Click the button on the upper left corner;

Step 2: Click Security

Step 3: Click Google Authentication

Step 4: Turn on the button on the right side;

Step 5: Click Next

Step 6: Follow the instructions;

  

Step 7: Enter SMS Verification Code and Google Verification Code;

Step 8: Click Confirm and You are all set!

Note: Please write the key on paper. When the phone is lost, this series of keys can help you reset Google authentication. Otherwise, it usually takes at least 7 days to submit a ticket to reset Google verification;

How to disable your BYDFi 2FA from your Google Authenticator

Note: BYDFi has recently upgraded our security mechanism. If you received a notification requesting a relinking of Google Authenticator, please follow the guide below to disable your existing Google Authenticator and re-establish a new Google Authenticator. 
 

Disable your BYDFi 2FA from your Google Authenticator [PC]

Please disable your BYDFi 2FA Google Authenticator via the Account and Security page as the illustration below:

Step 1: Visit bydfi.com

1. Click "Portrait" icon

2. Choose Account Security

3. Choose Security Center

Step 2: Click on the turn off button next to the Google Authentication option.

Step 3:

1. Enter your SMS Verification Code

2. Enter The Email Verification Code

3. Enter existing Google Authentication Code.

4. Click Confirm

Success! You will then receive a confirmation that your Google Authenticator was successfully removed from your account.

Disable your BYDFi 2FA from your Google Authenticator [APP]

Step 1: Click "Portrait" icon

Step 2: Choose Security

Step 3: Click Google Authentication

Step 4: Turn off the button on the right side;

Step 5:

1. Click Send to receive your Email Verification Code

2. Enter your Email Verification Code

3. Enter Google Verification Code

4. Click Confirm

Success! You will then receive a confirmation that your Google Authenticator was successfully removed from your account.

Notes:

1) Do not forget to remove the BYDFi token from your Google Authenticator app to avoid confusion after re-establishing a new Google Authenticator for your BYDFi account. 

2) Please re-establish your accounts Google Authenticator at the earliest possible time after disabling/deleting the previous one.
